Legends, the award- winning firm behind One World Observatory at the World Trade Center in New York City and OUE Skyspace in Los Angeles, is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated opening of The Observation Deck at CEB Tower, just in time for Summer Solstice. Located in the heart of Rosslyn, at the top of JBG Smith’s all glass CEB Tower at Central Place, the new public observatory will offer spectacular, panoramic views of the Nation’s Capital and beyond. Perched on the 31st floor of the tallest building inside of the Beltway, The Observation Deck provides incredible 360-degree views and an opportunity to experience the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia skylines like never before. The Observation Deck features 12,000 square feet of unobstructed observation space, technology that leads you through a self-guided tour, an open-air terrace, a café that celebrates the vibrant and multicultural food scene of D.C., and private event space with unmatched views of the skyline and the Potomac River. You will not only enjoy unparalleled views of the region, but will be immersed into unique historical perspectives of some of the most famous local landmarks through the “Windows Into History” exhibit. The exhibit utilizes interactive digital touch-screen displays and directional audio narrating some of the untold stories of different people and viewpoints that have influenced the nation’s history while drawing parallels to the distinct views seen from each window of The Observation Deck. The experience is highlighted by a complimentary photo opportunity and an interactive hologram experience that allows you to step into the shoes of selected historical figures and learn different perspectives on import issues that have shaped our nation. A daily ticket to The Observation Deck costs $22. Discounted tickets will be made available to youth, students, military, and seniors with appropriate identification.
